Raise Awareness
There are several impactful ways to get involved in the fight against human trafficking. You can volunteer with organizations like Polaris or A21, which work directly with survivors and raise awareness. Host or participate in local events such as Human Trafficking Awareness Day or Freedom Walks to educate your community. Use social media to share educational resources from groups like the National Human Trafficking Hotline. You can also contact your local representatives to advocate for stronger anti-trafficking legislation. Additionally, support survivors by volunteering with shelters, mentoring, or connecting them to job and housing opportunities. Every step helps bring us closer to ending trafficking.

Employ Survivors
Survivors need employment opportunities to move forward despite one's past.
The Trafficking Survivors Relief Act (*TSRA) of 2024 is to provide for the vacating of certain convictions and expungement of certain arrests of victims of human trafficking.
